About The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, support, and continuous development to ensure high standards of quality across all projects.
  • Develop and execute QA strategies for complex software solutions, ensuring they meet our high-quality benchmarks.
  • Define best practices and standards for testing within the team.
  • Manage and allocate QA team resources.
  • Participate in management meetings.
  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Perform testing on web, mobile, and desktop applications. 
  • Identify, report, and track defects using issue-tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand project requirements and identify potential risks.
  • Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure no new issues are introduced.
  • Continuously improve testing processes to ensure efficient, high-quality test coverage. 
  • Write clear, concise bug reports, and provide suggestions for improvements.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.

Your Experience

  • Proven 5 year experience as a Software Tester, Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, or similar role.
  • At least 1 year of management experience.
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies such as functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools and test management software.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS.
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to perform database testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for quality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile team environment.
  • Knowledge of mobile testing (iOS/Android), API testing and cross-platform testing.
    Nice to have:
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Knowledge of security testing.
  • Certificates in QA.
