TYPO3 Multishop is a plugin for streamlining the e-shop management experience. Most of the e-commerce systems out there have separated the frontend from the back office (i.e. the area for managing all e-store related information), with the back office integrated into the backend.
In contrast, TYPO3 Multishop aims to implement a What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) approach where all the maintenance of the e-shop is organised in the frontend of the website. As a result, any update of catalogue items gives a “true” view, i.e. how it would look for the customer or user visiting the shop.
